The Grand Budapest Hotel

The movie is great. There is a lot of action, humour and plot twists. From murder accusation, through escape from prison to chase scene that begins in a monastery located in high mountains, I laughed loudly watching another absurd action.

Also, great acting performance, everybody did an amazing job, but Ralph Fiennes was incredible in his role of Gustave H.

One of my best movies ever.

Directed by: James Wan

Starring: Jason Mamoa, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Nicole Kidman, Dolph Lundgren and much more

The story of Arthur Curry, half human half from Atlantis. As his half-brother threats the world, Arthur decides to go to Atlantis to claim his rights to the throne.

There was a lot of bad things in this movie, such us the scenario, dialogues and even jokes.  But despite that, I really enjoyed this movie. Maybe, because I went to the cinema with the ‘it cannot be a good movie’ attitude.

What was good in this movie: fight scenes and the fact, that it was really hard to tell when the CGI was used (of course you would know during the obvious moments, but apart of the logic it was hard to tell;) ). The great chase scene in Sicily.

I must admit that I had a lot of fun finding motives from other movies within this one, like The Little Mermaid (not only the obvious main female character ;)), The  Goonies, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Ant-Man and the Wasp and Assasin’s Creed.

Despite all the bad things, I really enjoyed it.
